About
dormakaba's presence in Indonesia began with the sale of dorma products in 1985. In 1992, DORMA established a representative office in Indonesia. With the growth of the Indonesian market, DORMA officially established a representative office in Indonesia in 1992, culminating in PT DORMA Far East (established in 2012), located in Office 8 Gandaria. In Office 8 Gandaria, we also unveiled Indonesia’s first dormakaba premium showroom in 2014, housing our wide portfolio of products and solutions.
In 2016, following the merger of DORMA with Kaba, PT DORMA Far East Indonesia was renamed PT dormakaba Access Indonesia. To enhance services and meet the needs of the Indonesian market, PT dormakaba Access Indonesia launched products like the BTS 84, BTS 75, and BTS 80 packages with warranties in 2022.
In response to increasing demand for affordable dormakaba concealed hinges, the GD 3211 concealed hinge package was introduced the very same year. The GD 3211 concealed hinge package was distributed through our retail distribution network. These retail-specific products can be found in our curated Partner Shops.
