Syngenta has been in Indonesia since the 1960s through its legacy companies. Syngenta is headquartered in Jakarta and has two commercial areas, Java and Bali as well as Sumatra and eastern Indonesia. Syngenta Indonesia has four industrial facilities, a Plant Protection Research and Development Center, a Plant Protection Product Factory, a Seed Development Site, and a Seed Processing Factory.
